As of the 18th of February 2018 the second phase of the shed project has made rapid progress.
In the three weeks since the last of the foundation pads were poured, all 12 of the uprights have been installed along with two of the roof girders and the outer roof wooden beams.
Two sections of the intermediate roof wooden beams have been installed too.
The work is being carried out as a joint effort between the Engineering Services and Infrastructure teams, along side their normal tasks around the railway. Thanks is given to them and here’s an appeal to everyone to get involved with the fund raising for the cladding & shed doors.
