Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is there a car park?

Yes, there is onsite parking, and also disabled spaces are available.

Please note that the car park is surfaced with gravel.

Do I need to book?

Whilst its not essential, prior booking is recommended, to avoid disappointment

Is the site accessible in a wheelchair?

There are disabled parking bays on site, and the whole site is accessible via ramps.

Is there wheelchair accommodation on the train?

Yes, we have a dedicated Accessibility Compartment on the train, which can accommodate one wheelchair and up to two carers/companions.

We also have a specially designed ramp at Pitsford & Brampton Station, giving safe and easy access on/off the train (both for wheelchairs and those with other mobility considerations). In addition, we have a foldable ramp on the train (the style national rail companies use) to enable simple boarding/disembarking at Boughton.

The Accessibility compartment is also an ideal quiet, discrete space, suitable for those who may prefer to be seated away from other passengers.

Carers do NOT need to provide any special ID.

Are there toilets?

Toilets are located on the station platform at Pitsford and Brampton Station. We have separate Ladies and Gents toilets, as well as an ‘accessible toilet’ and baby changing facilities.

At Boughton Station there is a single unisex toilet on the platform (but NO accessibility toilet or baby changing).

PLEASE BE AWARE – Unfortunately, there are NO toilets on the train itself. A return train journey lasts approximately 45 mins.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome at the event, including onboard the train, provided they (and their human) are well behaved.   We simply ask that all dog owners are responsible and clean up any ‘accidents’.
